Dont know about y'all, but I am fired up for this game! Nothing better than a saturday night watching the men in orange! Does not get any better!! Was at the UF game last week and cant wait to get the bad taste out of my mouth from that game.. Lets get back to doing what we do..crisp accurate throws from TB to future NFL WR's running wide open in the secondary, massive OL opening holes for our RB's, and an active aggressive D disrupting Akron's offense all night! C'mon my fellow Vols!! This season is not over. We can get this thing right starting tonight!!

I agree RTA about the possibility of starting out flat. Florida was only up 3-0 at the end of the 1st quarter against the Wildcats, so I could see us having a touch of the big game hangover. I just hope the boo birds don't come out if we do start slow.

i actually would be a bit surprised if they are flat. they have had some great practices this week (at least from what I've read..) and i just get a sense that the team wants to get out in front of the home folks and show them that this is a good football team, and that they are deserving of the passion that the fan base demonstrated last week. Or maybe im just projecting my own feelings on the players and hoping they feel the same.. Either way, i really expect/hope the team comes out ready to go from the opening kick and plays with enthusiasm and precision.

+1 for noticing frosty! On a Wednesday's with Wes recently, I asked him who was the only D-Lineman to be named MVP of the NFL. He guessed Reggie White, which was a great guess, but Alan Page was the man!
