***OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD, Alabama at Vols hoops***

  • It wasn't a foul. I'm more pissed that they missed the goaltending on an earlier Lacy drive where they called the foul.

That was a brutal game to watch though. Can't wait til Grant is let go and we get someone who understands offensive basketball.

No, he did not foul him. The camera from the other end of the court shows the Alabama player moving into Stokes. I don't care what the announcer said. It was close but Stokes was moving toward the baseline and the 'Bama player moved toward the goal. No foul.

Geez calm down I said happy the team won

Unless they can cut down on turnovers and figure out how to put a offensive gameplan together, no, I don't think so. But, I'm hoping! VFL!

You got a relevant point on the offensive game plan. It shows in the games that we mostly depend upon an individual play maker to put points on the board. Very few points coming from designed, set plays.

yeah.i agree but you have to admit without effort from stoke's in 2nd half we would not have won this game

  • That wasn't a foul on that drive anyways. Disintegrating see the goal tend but might have been one

  • I know our offense is terrible, but some of ya'll are acting like we are the only team in history that has run a motion offense and not relied on set plays...Bob Knight never called many set plays for instance

Got you back +1. Stokes exhibited what a force he can be in the 2nd half!

It was close, Wes! Commentators said it should have been called but dude jumped into stokes.

I think that it was an obvious foul, not just because I'm an Alabama fan. Stokes leaned in because Lacey faked a shot, and then Lacey tried to make his shot. Lacey drew the foul and it should have been called. Although, Alabama should not have put themselves in that position and if they played better near the end there would not even be an argument, so credit goes to Tennessee for getting into good position to win that game.

I actually was shocked that the refs didn't call it. But that wasn't the only questionable noncall/call that they had. And I hate how they call the foul whenever the offense clearly jumps into the defender. Not saying that's what happened or didn't just in general.
