OT: Bama @ LSU O/U 41

  • On Saturday's I'm like a lot of you where I sit my behind on a couch from 8:30 until 1AM. I like to gamble on the EPL and then college football. Can somebody talk me against wagering a ton of money on the under in the LSU BAMA game. How is that game reaching 41? I just don't see it. I certainly don't see LSU getting to 17. I was thinking like 21-13 BAMA. Anybdoy think this score goes over?

  • I could see 35-10. I'd still prolly take the under.. Because i think 24-10 is more likely, but be careful.

    I can't help ya, brother. I see more like 6-3, or 21-0. Definitely don't see 41, but it's your $ and you're a smart guy (from what I can tell).

  • I do not think it gets anywhere near that.. Last year it was 9-6 and 23-0, right? And, IMO, the offenses may be worse by comparison from last year to this year.. Bruce Feldman picked the game to picked the game to be 20-13 BAMA, which is along the lines of what you were saying.. I am not a sports gambler at all, will they change the O/U if they see loads of money on one side like they do spreads, or is this number concrete?

    The O/U can change anytime from now until Saturday night but if I take it now I'm stuck with it even if goes higher... Last week I lost a good amount on Oklahoma. On Tuesday I took it at -10, by gametime it was -13. I thought I was smart as hell until Oklahoma got stomped.

  • Bama will double LSU's TOP. Prolly get a couple short fields off INTs. May even get a pick 6. Any time a great D plays a terrible QB, it's hard to predict how many points the team with the great D will score. I think the under is a good bet, but don't ever assume a lock. Just don't bet so much that it will get you down in the dumps if you lose

  • I'd go with the under. Both of these times want to grind it out and LSU DBs will take away the deep threat of Cooper.

  • Given the scores from last season when these two played, I'd take the under. UA - LSU is a war of attrition, not a Shootout.

  • I would take the under now( well bc I already have). The O/U will go down before kickoff.

    Edit: line won't change again.... Im a day behind everyone else lol.

    I already took the under in a parlay. I'm confident in it. Parlayed that under with USC/Oregon over 70 and E. Carolina ML. Pay me!!

    You know Drizzle, my eyes lit up when I saw that number. But what I find is that most times my eyes light up it turns out to be a sucker line - particularly this late in the season. I just don't see how LSU scores enough points to make the number but that just seems too obvious. As crazy as it sounds, if I were to bet the O/U I would take the over because the under seems like a free lunch - and there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

    Oh I here you. But I try not to over think things either. Only way I lose is if Mettenburger is throwing pick 6's. Les is going to pull out all the stops this weekend, looking forward to the game.

  • Bumping this. Got super lucky but needed it bad with the Oklahoma clunker last weekend. Hell of a game.
