For the record, I was on the floor (I graduated that year - 1996) and his left foot was on the line. Should have been a 2 and the game should have hit OT. Such is life...

One of the best players in Knoxville history imo was Marlin Bussel from West. Never made it to college for lots of reasons. Think he's in jail now but an absolute beast. Still a legend
