OT: Chip Kelly Likely NFL bound

Schefter is reporting that every team in NFL that has a coaching uncertainty is looking into ways to hire Chip. He almost took TB job last year. I could def see him taking either the eagles or panthers jobs with Vick or Cam to make for an easier transition of his offense

His offense in the NFL would be a failure of epic proportions. He would have to change his system. Too much speed on defense in the NFL.

Maybe we will get to see if he indeed gets the chance to try it out.

He'll get his chance I'm sure but he'll end up back in the college game after a few years. Very good college coach but not suited for the pros.

The trade off here is the exhaustion that the defenses would face against his offense.
It would be like the Peyton Manning no-huddle x3. But all game long.
It'd be an interesting experiment.

Kelly won't run the same exact system in the league. It will be spread principles but not exactly what he runs now. His teams play fundamental ball.
