I saw the prayer thread for Connecticutt, but I was hoping that some of you would also pray for the family of Officer Martoiya Lang and the Memphis Police Department.

Martoiya and another officer served a search warrant and wound up in a gun fight where she was shot and killed. She leaves 4 children and a husband behind. Before working for MPD she was a jailer for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

Violent crime is ridiculous this year here, and coupled with the fact that so many officers here have broken the law this year as well makes it really sad when a true officer of the law dies violently in the line of duty. Please pray for the city of Memphis as well.
