He did so much for our program, I will be forever grateful. We need the "Bruce Pearl" of football to bring our program back. That guy knew how to get guys fired up.

I agree. That, in itself, is why I really wouldn't mind Greg Roman coming here. He REALLY wants the job and I think he would embrace the University and the people around it. Just like Brucey.

I can tell you this: as a student, Dooley never did anything to really get us fired up. I'd love to have a coach who would hold a pep rally and tell us that Tennessee was going to kick the S$&T out of somebody. I'd guarantee you students would pack the student section.
