Errbody needs to try this Whiskey Brisket.
Stir up a quarter cup each of: ketchup, Worcestershire, dijonnaise, brown sugar and good Tennessee whiskey. Add two tablespoons of garlic juice and shot or two of Louisiana hot sauce. Do not short the garlic juice.
Whack up a yellow onion; dump it and the brisket in a gallon freezer bag; pour in the marinade. Seal it up and let it soak in the fridge overnight.
Take it out and cook it, marinade, onions and all, low and slow in one of those Reynolds oven bags. Serve with pasta, salad and a dry red wine.
You'll be a star.

I made an onion recipe one time at a tailgate and everyone loved it so much I have to do it at every tailgate now. Take a large sweet onion chop it up however you like. In frying pan add big spoon of butter, a tbs. of olive oil, a packet of ranch seasoning (i use spicy or a ramen noodle flavor packet), dash of hot sauce, salt and pepper. Toss the onion in and i usually splash some beer and bbq sauce in it. Let the onion cook down slowly till it is almost like a jelly. Top hot dogs, brats, steaks whatever you like. Then take heartburn medicine. I mess around with the ingredients everytime i do it. I use a different one for the grill. Just quarter the onion but dont cut all the way through add all the ingredients and wrap tightly in foil, grill the heck out of it. longer the better.
