I made these for my wife and kids yesterday. I used a little clarified butter to make them crisp. They looked at me like I was crazy when I was making them, until they tried them, and they wanted more. They are so good and easy to make. Thanks.

Piece of cake awesomeness.
I dump chocolate chips in a tortilla. Add some sugar, pinch of cinnamon. Fold in half, spread it out, all that jazz. Toast it lightly in a skillet on each side is enough to melt the chocolate. A little powdered sugar and you're set.
Makes my wife smile every time she sees me making them.

I'm making these tonight for the Super Bowl.

After staying up until 1am working on the chili, I woke up at 7am today to make the sopapillas. So I just lugged a giant crockpot of chili and two large containers of sopapillas to work...

Bumping because you can never have too much food porn. I just stumbled across something one of the local restaurants has on its menu. A bacon-cheese hot dog where they wrap the bacon around the hot dog and deep fry it. It was good!!!

This is going to probably sound crazy, but the local quik stop gas station up the road has a darn good pulled pork sandwich and it is only 3.50. I know..gas station, but good food is good food. What does the poem say. A rose is a rose is a rose.

used to love gas station hot dogs in a pinch.. then got sick off of them, really bad one time, and now cant smell them without gettin nauses!!
