The Ruger Mark III is pretty good for target shooting.

Get your handgun carry licence.........JMO. I rarely ever carry mine but do if I am traveling a long way at night just in case I break down. 99.9% of the time........hidden at home close to my bed with the safety on and nothing in the chamber.

I have a 40 cal baby glock (I dont recommend)...........all others are at my dads in a gun safe with an alarm etc. I would NEVER again buy the 40 cal again.......its just too much gun for me for its rare need and use.......buy something that is much much easier to shoot and be accurate etc without having to do much practice.

I am by no means any kind of kind expert. I have been out shooting a few times. I have always enjoyed it. I do not need anything crazy I am not going to be shooting any deer or animals. I am thinking about a hunter safety course just to make sure I have covered all of my bases. I think our local technology center offers them. How much is a carry permit?

I like the Sig P238 .380 as a concealed carry gun, but .380 ammo can be hard to find now. Friend of mine owns a gunshop that I worked at off and on for about five years before actually putting my UTK degree to work. The Smith & Wesson Airweight revolver is a fantastic carry piece as well (my favorite).

I am not sure.........its been almost 10 years since I did mine. I am sure you can google it or get the info from any quality gun retail store. I recommend it and the advice you are getting ITT. Get a gun that is easy to shoot with little recoil. Get trained........get a permit.......enjoy.

Basically, If you don't know what you are doing with a gun, you SHOULD take a safety class for your safety and everybody's
safety. Common Sense should prevail.

I like my Sig Sauer Mosquito, same manual of arms as my Sig 239 .40 cal so I can practice and develop muscle memory at the same time as safety.

I'm wanting a sub- comp to carry. The Sig p290 caught my eye I love 9mm but have just seen them online and read the reviews. Do you know anything about them?

For just fun plinking...this is an excellent recommendation. For concealed carry, I have my Glock 27 chambered for 357 Sig rounds and also keep a interchangeable barrel to convert to 40cal S&W.

Lol I like the whole big gun theory and I own a 357 but I'm there kinda hard to conceal... My theory on the whole crack head thug thing is don't miss

357 Sig is not a magnum round. It fits my Glock 27 for concealed carry.
