Bielema has won everywhere he's been. He is probably the most underrated recruiter in the country just look at how many players Wisconsin has had drafted the last 3-4 years. One of his best qualities is his killer mentality when it comes to making tough decisions. He fired Markuson after the 2nd game, promoted Bart Miller his grad assitant coach of the O-line who player for Bob Bostad who was the o-line coach last year that took the same job with the Buccaneers, and the level of improvement has been startling. At the end of the 2007 season his co-defensive coordinators were Dave Doeren and Mike Hankwitz. He surprised mostly everyone by sending Hankwitz packing in favor of Doeren and I dont think I need to explain how that worked out. He's got that program rolling 17 starters return next year and could very possibly contend for a 4th title in a row.
