    Born in Knoxville, Tn
    Hartsville (SC) High School
    Clemson University
    Still live in Hartsville, SC

Stopped in Hartsville on the way back from seeing Dave Matthews with the wife a few years back. We both had a hangover and stopped at a country buffet with a woman's name. The fried okra was made by angels. Good hangover food. We need to hit Peaches when you come in. Saw my buddy the owner Halloween night

I can tell your from a military family because I've lived in some of those towns too.

I was and I wasn't. My dad was some sort of mechanic in the 70s for the Army but he was a dirtbag and went AWOL. So I was born in TX, but my social security number is from California...where he was transferred to. I didn't list that because I can't possibly remember it.

Starting with Great Lakes, the addresses were from when I was in the Navy, up until I was in Gurnee. I lived directly across the street from Six Flags then.

I knew it would just be short term work related move - it was fun for a year being 26 and single and able to stagger home from Hermosa Pier but no interest in living there again - biggrin

At the risk of making a fool of myself is your picture hanging in the Post Office? I've lived a lot of places myself but I don't think it's as many as you and I'm 64. Just wow.

I'd be a fool to be honest, wouldn't I? Lol

Most of the moves until Great Lakes was a result of my step dad looking for work. He was a truck driver back then. There was a period of time where I went and lived with family elsewhere as well.

I could have included Harrisburg and Great Lakes twice. I lived in Harrisburg two separate times. Once in 83-85 and again in 92. I was in Great Lakes in 97-98 and again from 03-07.

Joining the Navy added to my zip codes and I have lived in the Chicago area more than any other area, sadly. Missouri is catching up, though.

The final moves in MO have been a result of leaving the Navy, finding a job and relocating. Divorce. Found an apartment fast and moved to a cheaper one a year later. I then moved to St Charles to be closer to my soon to be wife. We got married a few months later and are now building a home.

It's been a long journey. I'm hoping to finally call a place home. I wish it was Knoxville, but I'll take what I can get.

  • Born in Chattanooga, raised in the football wasteland that is SE MIssouri. Raised properly as a Vols fan, and thankfully we got the old Jefferson Pilot/Lincoln Financial games. Came to Nashville for college in 2000, and stayed. Now I'm in Spring Hill.

    5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

Cool, love to visit the City but get a little crazy after 3-4 days up there. Really enjoy being out on the island, love it way out past Riverhead. I have friends in Deer Park, Lake Ronkokona, & W. Babylon. Some interesting memories from being there - spent the evening watching OJ doing his infamous run in the white Bronco at the Hampton Inn in Commack.

I envy your time as a student in Knoxville. Those were the good times. I got to see 2 SECCG seasons and 2 losing seasons. And to make it even better, they fired Phil the semester I graduated. Fun times!
