A pet. I've got an 8yr old daughter who is OBSESSED with Smokey so I've been trying to find one. I've got plenty of land for one to run on I'm just having a hard time trying to find one to run on it. haha! I even contacted Davis Branch Farm about purchasing one with the Smokey bloodline but they're not having a litter until spring and she's took all of the deposits she's taking until they're born. If I can't find one before Christmas I may just wait until next year (2014) and get one with the Smokey bloodline or may end up waiting until then anyway because I know she would be super stoked if I got her one from Smokey's bloodline. Anyway thanks for keeping me in mind if you hear of any and I'll also be checking the website out that you give me.

Yea its also a little harder to find one during racoon season cause hunters dont typically like to breed at this time atleast the ones around here don't. But you are right for some reason blueticks are hard to find i have wanted one for along time but they are hard to come by.

I have a Blue Tick Beagle mix and like many hounds they are actually sensitive. If you are not a 'screamer' and are patient they train easy and are a super companion dog. My wife has turned our guy into a big wuss. I love him but he wouldn't bite a biscuit let alone someone breaking in. Great dog for an 8 year old girl.

If you need papers or a young puppy, this wont help but there are dozens of fine blue ticks on petfinder.com. Most are there because they got on a scent and got lost, miles away from home. I got one such 5 years ago, she was a year old when we picked her up. Wouldn't trade her for Lassie, ol yeller and rin tin tin combined.
