Yes, pretty crazy that we are talking about how deep they are when Hanson and Jurjjens have both struggled so much this year.....they were our best two starters before the All Star break last year and I seem to remember people arguing about which one would be the ace for the team in the future.
People forget we still have Tehran in the minors who still has a lot of learning to do, but is still very young and was the top pitching prospect in baseball at one time.

Even more insanity: Uggla < .210.
Thank goodness Jason Hayward has finally come alive, and Chipper is Ole Man River and Prado can play every position in the field and still hit effectively. If any of those three had not come through there's no way we'd talking playoffs.

3 Hall of Famers in the same rotation. Should have won more than 1 title though. I don't think we will ever see a rotation like that ever again. Never say never though. The phillies rotation was never together long enough and, except for Hamels, the other 2 were not in their prime when they got there, IMO.

I have a baseball I won in Tom Glavine's charity golf tournament(purely an accident) that has Smoltz, Maddox, Glavine and Denny Neagle sig's on it. If Neagle had won the Cy Young the year he was so good you can just guess how valuable it would be. Three hall of famers and 4 Cy Young winners. Oh Well.
