The thing is the past several years should teach us that defense wins championships. Yeah you can have a great offense that puts up 40 points a game but allow your opponent to put up 50 it doesn't work to well.SRDC Vol

I don't think you can pick which side of the ball you want your guy to be best at. He just needs to hire coordinators who make his gameday job relatively easy.
If I'm forced to decide, I'd rather my HC be an offensive genius. Most of his key decisions on gameday are on that side of the ball, anyway. I've seen too many defensive minded guys with teams that don't know how to make a first down.
