i'm not saying wright is a bad player...he's just NOT what the titans needed. I don't see how you can justify taking him when we had HUGE needs on defense.
again, i'm very upset about this. Im goint to go in my room, turn out the lights, and look at Wes's beard under a red lens flashlight to calm myself

You need offense in the NFL, and with Kenny Britt coming off ACL surgery, there may be concern that he won't be completely back to normal this year. Either way, this gives the Titans a deep receiving corps - probably the deepest they've had since they've been in Nashville. And a good passing game will help Chris Johnson quite a bit, too.

yea i know what you're saying ryan, but we desperately need defensive help. look at the past super bowl. the giant's had a fantastic pass rush. the previous year, the packers were amazing on defense.
again, i'm not saying he's a horrible player, just not one the titans needed. our biggest needs are on the defensive side of the ball. when some1 like chandler jones is still on the board, i dont see how u make what is more of a luxury pick for your team

The Packers didn't have a great defense that year. It was solid but not spectacular, if I remember correctly. And yes, the Giants' defensive line has been good for years, but their overall defensive rank wasn't spectacular this past year.
You can win with offense or defense in the NFL, but as the 49ers just showed this year, it's hard to make the Super Bowl without a reliable passing game, no matter how good your defense is.
Plus, don't forget the Titans just signed Kamerion Wimbley this offseason. He'll help their pass rush probably more than any single rookie would have.

They are having a pretty good draft so far.
