South Carolina's sports info department has released a stament on Marcus Lattimore that discusses his "eventual return to football."
GREAT news.
Best wishes to a great player and better kid who deserves it.

Wish him all the best. I really hope he got a big insurance policy though. It would have been worth his momma taking out a second mortgage to do so.

Good news is there were no fractures. That was one of the uglier injuries I have witnessed. He has the right mental makeup to come back from this. Hope he is able to! Prayers and best wishes to him.

Man, that is a relief. Not to downplay the injury, but this is quite a bit better than the rumors of broken femur and four torn ligaments that were going around last night. Prayers for a great recovery. Much respect for this guy as a player and a person.

Chris Low just confirmed that Lattimore did have a sizable insurance policy. So at least he's hopefully going to be okay even if football is over.

Great News but I hope he recovers and has a great pro career. He may be from SC but I love to watch the kid run.
