I can only hope. Tennessee really is a great place, and I truly believe Dooley was in way over his head. The more he lost, I think the less he focused on recruiting and the more he felt the need to lick his wounds. He obviously could recruit when he felt it was absolutely necessary (see NSD 2010). It just seems he spent too much time learning to be a head coach to pull in recruits and, ultimately, win.
I feel good about Jones because he knows how to coach, how to win, and he is so passionate about being at Tennessee. I think he can handle his largest priority, outside of winning games, and that is selling UT to recruits. It is apparent that our program sells itself, and with a competent coach reaching out to talented kids, I feel we will really get this ball rolling.

I sure hope next years recruiting is better. I know coach jones is looking anywhere and everywhere for kids at this date and having to scramble but catching up to USC,Florida,ga is going to take better athletes than we are getting this year. 35th rated tight end this year,maybe one of the top 20 next year.

It will get better, in the CBJ world a lot revolves around family and relationships. Look at how this recruit feels about the coach.

Maybe it's just me but I have been very impressed with the character and quality of these last few recruits. They really seem to have their heads on right and focused on the right things...Outstanding!!
