Ole miss

  • Being from Holly Springs, MS (30 min from Oxford) has been awful all you hear is how Hugh is there savior. Dude coaches at Lambuth. At least our coach won at a lot bigger school than Arkansas state.

    Ole Miss was coming off back-to-back 2-win seasons when they hired Freeze, and he won 7 games in his first year, almost 10.

    I'm sure you are sick of hearing about it, but if Butch improves UT as much in his first year as Freeze improved OM, we'll win 10 games and be just as annoying.

  • I'm happy for Ole Miss. I live near Memphis and have alot of friends that are Ole Miss fans. They're going to be fun to watch for quite some time I think!

    I haven't folded up the tent on Jones; he hasn't even coached a game. But so far he has gained us some badass QB's and WR's, along with a DE and more to go. We're top 25-30 in recruiting and we don't deserve to be. I'm excited for the Vols!

  • Freeze just set himself up for failure. That fanbase is going to automatically expect 10-win seasons based on this class, and I'm not sure he'll be able to pull that off in the SEC West.

  • My Dad's an Ole Miss alumni and fan who's been amped about Hugh Freeze from Day 1. He's certainly coming through so far...winning the Egg Bowl and beating the pants off Pitt in their bowl game is a massive improvement over their two previous 2-win seasons.

    Here's hoping Butch Jones can do the same for UT.

  • One nice thing about Ole Miss doing so well -- Vandy has to play them every year. No more cake walks.

    Ha they just act like try won a Nat'l champ. They won 7 games and Pitt is nothing to brag about in my eyes. They talk so much smack. Just like when they were Ranked #4 for like one week a few years back.
