Hilariously, there was one at the bottom of my screen when I was posting. This is getting ridiculous. Ok... Not getting.

I don't mind the ads in general, but the oversized and pop up ads are more than I'm willing to tolerate and still pay a monthly fee. If I'm a paid subscriber, I'm ok with the ads, but they should be unobtrusive. Want to shower the free guys with ads? Do it. Make that a benefit of membership. But the size and frequency of these large (and previously pop-up) ads that I end up accidentally clicking then have to navigate through closing the new window that just opened to get back to what I was trying to read - a bit much.
I actually intentionally click through ads when I have time just to get the revenue for 247. I get the need for them. No way they can provide the quality site and content they do for the $10/month fee. But come on... There has to be a happy medium, right?

I sent to folks yesterday when this thread started. Not sure if they are normal or something that a provider is slipping through. Happens all the time. We set parameters for providers and they sometimes don't abide by them. Will let you know what I hear.

i apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. You should not be seeing the larger ads at the top of the mobile pages. One of our advertising partners was showing placement they weren't supposed to. They are only supposed to be shown in the footer position. You should not be seeing them in the top position today. If you are still seeing them at the top of the pages, please email me at advertising@247sports.com.
