UPDATE: If you want to chip in for TSD athletics, PayPal me at wesrucker@gmail.com, and I'll add that to the check we're giving them.

Sounds like a scam to me. biggrin

    You're so cynical.

Score update from Chambers Field: TSD 14, SC School for the Deaf 0, 1stQ.

Bad news, though: TSD stud Jr LB Tory Lipford fell and hit his head. Ambulance is here, but it looks like a concussion. Hopefully that's all it is.

  • Thanks Wes. I'll be sending you a little donation for them this evening.

Wes, I am right there with you in giving to others. I am blessed beyond belief and love being able to help others.

If we can't take care of our fellow man, what's the point of any of this?

Wise words here Wes. I'd like to think this is what most all the people on the this board are about. Looking forward to helping out.

  • SCSD had a first-and-goal at the TSD 2-yard-line, but the Vikings stuffed 'em back.

    Turnover on downs.

End of three quarters: TSD 34, SCSD 0.

  • Just kind of curious....has any1 from the TSD or any other school for the deaf ever gone on to get a major college scholarship? I would think that there are some pretty good atheltes that are deaf who would have that opportunity and ability to compete with the best.

Great question. I'm supposed to speak with the AD pretty soon, and I'll ask him.

The athletic director over there is very excited and very appreciative of the support. Let's give the champs the support they deserve!

Just wanted to remind everyone to send it as a GIFT to you. This will prevent the fees from being added to it. Again Wes thanks for bringing this to our attention clap

My brother graduated from TSD in 2004 and I know they had at least one football player that went on to play for the Gallaudet Bison in Washington D.C.

  • Serious question and I am not taking any shots here (my sister is deaf). How do you cheer at a TSD football game? Do they hand out something that players can see or something else to add to the support? Curious.
