Getting in UT ain't a piece of cake. Insiders tell me UT is next to VU these days in the admissions department. We'll see.

I'm glad he decided to come here even though we made him feel "homely" haha. In all honesty this is a great get for Tennessee. I'm really excited about him being here and I feel like he will be all vol. I can't wait for him to play against Florida.

Throwing caution to the wind...YEAH BABY!!!! I know this may seem like a freebie, but the staff has been putting a lot of hard work in getting the good recruits on campus. That hard work has to pay off sometimes, sometimes in unexpected places. GO VOLS!

When you say that UT is next to VU these days with respect to admissions, does you mean that it is harder for athletes to get into UT these days, or students in general? I was always under the impression that getting admitted to UT was easier than getting admitted to, say, a Texas A&M or Vanderbilt. Could be wrong, though

Hope he's working out somewhere and comes in in decent shape. Just the sheer size of him should allow him to push the DT's we have to work harder. Ryan I know theres been alot of talk about his weight but at 6'6" he should be able to carry 325LBs or more with the proper training . The talk has been we will play multiple defenses 3-4 and 4-3, this would be a HUGE front on goal line situations Sentimore,McCullers,Couch and Phillips. Hope he get's in this staff and coach Dooley seem to be leaving no stone unturned to get to the next level

I hope Phillips can get admitted. This would be an unexpected and pleasant surprise before the start of the season. Don't know how much he can contribute this season unless he has stayed in great shape. Maybe he'll at least be able to play some situational downs and by the end of the season, who knows. It would be more depth along the DL and if UT happens to miss out on a DL recruit for 2013 the sting won't hurt as much.

I saw that and thought it was a typeo hopefully it was if not maybe that's why he didn't get in Fl. Either way got you an up vote on the way.
