Please pray for my family

Was hoping to never start one of there threads. my mom had some knots removed in her breast and under her arm last week. just found out she will be having both breast removed due to cancer. worse it has moved into the nodes and has begun spreading. not sure how far yet til a scan. my family has never dealt with cancer before. further more my mom is not the type person who deals well with adversity. but i believe in the power of prayer. please remember us

Hey man, my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she is doing quite well with treatments, etc. My father had Stage 2, Grade 4 colon cancer and is five years in remission and just released from the oncologist last week. Cancer is NOT a sentence anymore. There are plenty of success stories. There is good medicine/treatment out there, so keep your head up and be strong for her.
Remember God is in control of everything. I'll say a prayer for your family and you just keep praying, too.
Thinking about you guys, man. You'll get through.

Thanks Guys for all the kind words. I am an ordained minister in the General Baptist faith and Youth Pastor of my church. This is the biggest challenge i've faced since my ministry began so my faith with be tested. I know what kind of power prayer has and i will lean on my savior. Again thanks

Prayers sent for good news. Went through the big C with my wife last year. She was lucky enough to have only had a lumpectomy, but nonetheless the chemo and radiation was hard on her. Tell your mom not to give up, there is a great support system in place.
