The CheckerBoard

For me the good vibes come from having CBJ telling me he is gonna bring back the Vols to prominence in a place where it has fallen - Middle and West Tennessee. I remember when I was very young it seemed like most of Tennessee was All Vols.
But now where I live in a part of Tennessee that's flooded with Alabama bandwagon fans that you couldn't find anywhere 8 years ago. I Seriously can't make my 10 minute drive to work without seeing that blasted 'A' plastered on half the cars or trucks I pass. And, I watched alot of my peers grow into Florida fans during the 90's before that.
BUT for some reason I also feel eager to be excited now. Although, with everything that's happened in the past decade part of me can't help but to hold back. So I understand all the mixed feelings, but something does tell me things are going in the right direction.
So, here's to hope! I guess that's what being a fan is all about. GBO!
