  • Lets call it what it is. McRrae is the only scorer we have. Stokes is a bull in a china shop...great body and rebounder but not a scorer...no touch and not smooth. And you cant play through him because he cant finish and when fouled cant hit his free throws. Golden is too slow and lost his confidence. Everybody else is a role player. Love the effort but we just dont have the talent. Cant hit open shots...no identity. NIT team. It is what it is. And whats funny is im the second post 9 hours after the game. Crickets.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of feels all of us, and this team, are in the "we'll get it next year" mode. Maybe we just all need a break from UT sports after football and the start of basketball.

It's hard to remember the fight they showed at the end of last season to get on the tourney bubble.

"Count it down with me. Five, four, three, two, one. The national champion is clad in Big Orange!"

  • I agree with the two comments just above, but this team has a chance to develop real character THIS YEAR, without Maymon. Right now, they are lost in an identity crisis. If they can find themselves and play to their strengths, this season could be a huge step forward for them. If they really are playing it out until Maymon returns, then that is a set-up for disaster.
