  • Good analysis Wes. I thought we did well to battle back, but the deficit was just too large to overcome. Memphis' was hitting everything they threw up in the first half. Maybe our D was flat, and maybe Memphis just got on a hot streak. Probably a little bit of both.

I am concerned about Golden and McBee. I don't see how McBee can be a consistent 3-pt shooter with a torn UCL and I applaud him for trying. But he may not be able to contribute much. I was surprised to see him in the lineup late in the game. Kudos to McRae and Richardson though. They really put the game on their shoulders tonigh.

  • Joe Jackson is a terrific player. How would better could we be if we had a point guard similar to him leading the Vols? Answer, much, much better. Kudo's to the team for coming back, but IMO much of that was the heart and soul of a few guys' individual play - they made their own offensive set schemes. We probably won't see that kind of play again unless we are down 20+ points again. The Tigers were really just too hot last night. Proud of how our Vols fought to come back - that showed a lot of heart. No doubt, we averted an embarrassing loss.

  • I don't think we have to worry about Stokes leaving early for the NBA. His lack of dominating post play says he is not ready for the big league yet. With some better on court support from other Vol players, he could make a big contribution to the BB program in the next 1-2 years. Let's hope that Coach M can recruit some help for him.

  • Golden is playing but it' s clear his injury is killing his game..Trae went from leading scorer shooting 43% to shooting 11%..If Trae is 100% we win that game..Kudos to Josh..If he's that good now, he will be first team SEC his senior year

  • Simply out played...unfortunately, a win could have REALLY helped out the season. However, plenty of basketball is still to be played, just have to wait and see how it plays out with Maymon gone for the season. VFL!! hoops
