Great win today. They showed a lot of fight. I was really impressed with Chiehous today. He showed a lot of toughness and made some big plays in the first half!

I was very worried about this game..Mizzou has size and speed and UT countered that with hard-nosed defense..McRae was taken out by design and CCM still was able to get enough out of his reserves to make up for the loss of JM's recent scoring outburst.

I am glad to see you mentioned that first. Not that it is the most important one-thing, but to my eyes, it is. Necessary win, and a great win.

Can't say enough about how far josh Richardson has come. He is a monster on defense, and I think that every time he takes that 8-10 foot soaring jump shot, its going in. Great win against a very good team, GO VOLS!!!!!

I agree with you...unless there are a lot of conference champion upsets. If there are more than 3 or 4 "only way they get in is if they win the conference tourney" winners, we might get screwed again...
If we win 2 in the SEC tourney, I think we are in no matter how many upsets. If we win 1, we might squeak in.
If we lose the first game, gonna take a lot of Orange prayers being answered. Just my opinion.

Just wait till next year if everyone comes back that is suppose to. I'll take a deep run in the NCAA tourney if it means that Stokes or McRae ends up bouncing to the NBA, but I'm hoping everyone stays...

Two thoughts: 1.The growth of McRae. Has continued to work & mature since Coach Martin arrived. Has come a long way from the incident on the bus as a freshman. 2. Stokes baseline reverse layup late in the game. Shows improvement during the year. I'm sure scouting report has him loving the turn over his left shoulder. But to go right and use the backboard as protection was big at that stage in the game.

We are constantly reminded in this column that the Vols are not great, but they are tough. I say results are the judge of greatness and this team just pulled off one of the great finishes over the last 9 games of any UT team in history. Winning 8 of 9 after losing 6 of 9... beating a top Florida team, giving Kentucky it's worst beating in decades and beating a very good and tough Missouri team. Tennessee has been the best team in the SEC for the last month.

I was at the game and the atmosphere was great. Wish it could be like that each and every home game, but a I know the opponent and how the team is playing has a lot to do with that. After seeing the tourney bracket, I think we have a great chance of playing into Sat. We shall see.

i was so pumped that game was so exciting it was looking bad with us down 8 with 9:00 to go but dang we fought back and had some crucial threes it was like whenever we needed to make a shot it would go in

Vols never do well when getting a bye, I am glad they have one game prior to playing Bama.
Team has a great chemistry. Next year will be fun with stokes and maymon on the
court.

Agree with the not great but tough comment. Stokes could be such a force with a 15 foot jumper and any semblance of a left hand. McCrae could gain a bit of strength and on and on but let's enjoy this ride. Lets go dancin!
