  • Been anxiously awaiting the 2-4-7 since I had to miss the game. Good stuff Wes, thanks. Vols making it exciting down the stretch when it just didn't seem likely 2 or 3 weeks ago. Kudos to CCM for making the necessary adjustments and these great kids for stepping up their game. GO VOLS!

  • I really wonder about fatigue on Tuesday night. Will it really be a factor? TBA will be shaking, so surely that's a plus. If the guys can't get amped for the Gators then they can't get amped at all. That makes me think they'll be fine.

    UT's sports information staff does a pretty good job of compiling quotes from postgame press conferences, whether it's at home or on the road.

  • TBA will the most electric it has been in a LONG time on Tuesday night. Can't wait to watch Tuesday night. I think I scared some people in the library at my school tonight watching the Gamecast and freaking out. Not sure I can handle more games like tonight's

  • The quote from Stokes about him "pacing himself" is an interesting one. There has been a huge change in his motor and aggressiveness over the last month versus the first part of the season, and maybe the reason for that really is because he's giving 100% all the time and not saving anything for later. If so, that is huge for this team's future.

    I wrote many a game story from the bureau back in the day but the canned quotes almost always sucked. That was before anybody used recorders, and most of the student interns who worked for Haywood and Bud were lousy at taking down quotes. Rarely did we get player quotes.

  • If UT can once again beat FU, I think they have a legitimate shot at the big dance..We'll see, hopefully the gatas will be a little over confident heading into TBA.. I have started running on my treadmill during UT games and try to run the whole game. I made it 13 miles before muscle failure and cramps stopped the run. I'll be back at it Tuesday night..GBO!!!

  • So proud of these young men,it would have been so easy for them to fold a few weeks ago. You always here coaches talk about peaking at the right time and we may not have peaked yet. There is no telling were this run could take them and if we can end the reguler season in the top 4 in SEC play you get a double bye in the SEC tournament.
    I have alot of hope for the rest of the season and post season but think about this. If everything falls into place we will have Stokes,Maymon,McRae,Golden,Richardson,Moore,and Hubbs for next years team. Also Reese should be alot better. We should have one hell of a year but with high expectations comes HIGH PRESSURE,if they can handle it,everybody should have alot of fun.

    You may be right..My wife suggested this a few weeks ago because I was jumping around like a maniac watching UT play..This keeps me stable and puts my hyper-energy to good use..
