Great win. Lane looked good and neal showed flashes but he has to get all that dancing out of his system.

I think we were some what vanilla on both sides of the ball by design, don't want to show our hand to early for our SEC foes. CP had hardly any touches in the 2nd half as an example. Lane is the best north/south runner we have. I was impressed by the amount of pressure we were able to get on their QB, and other than a few busted plays by our DB, they played pretty solid all night and tackled well.

I'll take the win. I wasn't sure what to think about this team but it does appear that we are different from last year. It makes me a little frustrated about Rogers. Because I think that we could be almost unstoppable if we had all three of those guys out there, but oh well.

Running game was "ok" need to run up the field more, but it's hard to complain about 194 yards rushing.

I think the defense looked pretty good hate that Lathers is hurt. 4 interceptions and that QB was on his butt a lot that game. To the defense swarming to the ball reminded me of the days of old.

I think it used to sound like this: "Hit first by Lathers and then by a Host of Volunteers!!

Overall not a bad first game I'm hoping we look better against Florida (obviously) and lets hope for no injuries next week (obviously again).

I'm glad to see him not throw it triple coverage like he use to. He's actually improved a bit there I hope....
