Remember the Bama game for Palardy? He's got potential, but can he put it all together? We better hope so.

Darr's situation reminds me a little of David Leaverton. Came in highly rated and did terrible his freshman/sophmore year (one or both years, I can't remember). Was shanking punts, dropping the snap, etc. Then went on to be arguably the nations best punter.

I hear there's a new gun in town too...from what I've heard, there is a walk on kid...has already bested both Palardy and Darr in punting in winter practices. Some kids saw them practicing last week, and this kid can launch the ball.

May be worth watching to see who comes out on top.

I know this position gets over looked most of the time, but this year we need this unit to step up, just as much as our O-line, maybe more so. These young men can win a game just as much as they can loose one for us. i hope this year we get back to the level we are used too, when we had the Colquitt's. maybe less drinking though.

Bullock would be my guess, be he isn't due on campus til summer afaik. Could he be working out?

hmmm...he's a walk on from school. My kid knows him...there's a story there. Could be a cool one.

Other than rumors and heresay, I have no solid info, (why do kids only tell you part of the story?), so I don't want to pollute the board with more speculation. We'll know next week, won't we?

Heard today from my kid that the punter I mentioned earlier hurt his knee and will not be participating this spring. Too bad, too, from what I have heard, he is quite a punter. Let's hope he improves, if for no other reason to give us depth. Might be worth asking Coiner about.
