Lots of folks complained that Worley lost his red shirt last year, but I'm really glad he got the experience.
Wes, appropriate that you disc'd Bray under the heading "The Skinny." Has he put on some weight this year?

Love Bray and Like Worley. Worley is young and if we had of made a few more plays we could have beat S. Car with him. They were ripe for the picking that day. Defintitely feel good about our upcoming season with these guys under center.

Bray has maturity issues that have never really gone away. They may have gotten better but he is still that kind of kid...he is more concerned about going pro than being here...he is in for a rude awakening, I told him to win some games that matter first then he can talk like that. He worries me in that he is not a leader but a follower...QB has to be a leader.

Let's hope Bray's maturity and better work ethic that has been reported will lead to a better offense. The talent is there. If you don't believe it watch the Cincy game from last year. 34-41/405/4TD's is hard to do against air, much less a D1 defense.

The quarterback position this season will be solid with tyler bray leading this team and a solid number two and,three backup quarterbacks in worley and peterman. Go vols for 2012.

I keep hearing some negative things about Bray and some issues regarding his choices. I understand that some of the coaches have"explained" this to him...and I hope he turns it around. Again I am all about talent - and he has that, no doubt - ALONG WITH character...because leadership has a LOT to do with character.
I know some people don't care about character as long as these kids perform...but to me this is more about building a program...which leads to teamwork and ultimately, winning. If your quarterback is going to be a visible leader of the team, there is some responsibility to perform with character...

I know he has some maturity issues, but there's a part of me that likes his gun slinging mentality like when he said he was going to go down to Florida and throw the ball around like it's the backyard.

First things first.I hope to see Bray be good from the get go during spring practice.I remember last spring he was outa sync for a large part of time.hopefully he lights it up in the orange/white game!

Wes, your writing is the biggest reason I joined this site. Thanks. From what I am hearing Tyler is making great strides this off season. If he translates that to the field and everyone can stay healthy they just might terrify some defenses this season.

Bray should put up big numbers with his experience and talent around him- staying healthy is critical and long hours in the film room.

I hope we have first team vs second team scrimmage this year. Mixing up the team during spring game has been awful to watch. Can we not do it like everyone else?

I think the QB play this year will be just as important in the run game as in the passing game. One thing I learned last year was that Matt Simms was much more proficient in calling the run game than Tyler Bray was. Hopefully, Bray will be able to improve on that this year.

It would also be an ideal spring if Bray would use his good relationship with Da'Rick to rein him in and get him working hard with the team.

Tennessee has a talented incoming recruiting class, including the #1 wide receiver class in the country. The fact we have a STABLE FULL of Quality WR's I'm not so worried about our pass offense. We should be able to go 5 wide and give anyone a nightmare, put some speed in the backfield and we should gash even Bama at least for a few plays.

I think the key injuries last year -- Hunter's knee & Bray's thumb both -- were fluke accidents. When was the previous time we lost a WR or a QB to a season-ending injury (much less both in one year)? I remember Jerry Colquit's injury in the early/mid 90's at QB. We've had RB's get hurt (usually knees) but WR's?
I hope we had our lightening strikes last year. If they're healthy this year, how are defenses going to stand up against Bray and "a stable full of quality WR's"? Only option they're going to have is coming after QB, and if our pass protection is good -- and it was quite good last year -- that ain't gonna work.
