Hey we couldn't pull it out BUT that game could have gotten way out f hand! I'm very proud of the team! I felt they played hard for 4 quarters and just had some mental mistakes. I think I we can improve and keep bringing that game each week we could be in for some nice rewards. And to boot we have a bye next week before our toughest stretch! GO VOLS!!!! GBO!!!

I think we all saw games like that last season get out of hand - and against much worse teams than No. 5 Georgia.

I agree Kevin! I think we are getting better. We just have to keep plugging away. We will surprise some people.

i know theres no "moral victories" and im sick of losing but this team played their rearends off for the whole game! the defense for sure needs some work but i think i will get there..im proud of the way the team played for 60 minutes and thats all i can ask for! GBO

I Agree , proud to see the Vols play a full 60 mins! Slow but surely their getting there! I like UT chances against State in two weeks. GBO

Even though we lost, I am proud of the way we hung in there to the end. That game could have gone either way. GBO.

I realize that a loss is still a loss, but I think we saw a different Tennessee team today than we saw vs. Florida. We getting better and more confident. It started in 2nd half against Akron and continued against the #5 team on the road. I hope this continues against Miss St. and the rest of the schedule. 8-4 is still my goal. Proud of our team.

I think the bye will help the team. I think it gives the defense time to prepare for the second half of the season and work out some of the kinks.. I think if we stay in the game like we did today we will pull out a FEW games we aren't suppose to. Of course we have to continue to improve and keep motivated!
