Best thing to come out of Alabama: I-59 North
I live in NYC and though it's not known for being a college town (err, city) it's a surprisingly underrated and amazing college town (err, city). Yup, you read that correctly. It's mostly because the composition of people are transplants from across the country on fall Saturdays, it is fun meeting fans of other schools and conferences and learning their traditions and hearing stories. Honestly, I've become a bigger and better college football fan since I moved here from Knoxville. That said, I hardly get crap for being a Tennessee fan from most fans. Other NYC SEC fans (cough Georgia cough Florida) do get more obnoxious, but what's the point of getting into an open argument other than muttering something under your after they walk away. And after reading other responses on this topic, why get so "angry" or "ashamed" if it's a small joke or a tease? Chill out. If you freak out and unless it's straight out malicious trash talk, that's not really helping yours, the fan base's or UT's image.

BUTCH IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. GO VOLS!
I live in Kentucky and it can be pretty bad. However I know more about sports than most of the people I argue with so I just make a more convincing argument than the UT hater and then I insult their intelligence for starting the argument. Once we start winning again we will be able to talk some good smack so I'm not too worried about it
