If you would've asked me a month ago who the 2 shadiest college football teams I would've told you Auburn and Clemson. Now Auburn seems to cleaned up it's act and has just been replaced by Ole Miss. Sucks these are the 3 teams we are fighting with Lawson over.
"People think I'm the greatest damn coach in the world, but Neyland taught me everything I know" -Bear Bryant
I think in the end, he stays with Auburn if for no other reason than he's been committed to them for 10 months, has yet to decommit, and will visit them last. I think seeing them last seals the deal for Auburn. He seems to be a "flavor of the week" guy and Auburn will be the "flavor of the week" heading into NSD.
I think Lawson may be the most honest recruit out there. If people are saying he keeps changing his mind and has a new favorite very week, that sounds like an 18 year old kid to me! We hang so much on the word of high school seniors when they say "I'm committing to (insert name) University!" and then lose our minds when they change it. It's kind of refreshing to hear about a kid that can't make up his mind, and is probably freaking out over all the attention. Like I said, his reaction is probably the most honest one I've seen. I'd love to see him in Tennessee Orange, but if he chooses to go somewhere else, we can't say we didn't expect it!
Texas is starting to get under my skin!!!
People close to Lawson have said that it's UT and AU. Clemson/OleMiss/UNC have all shown interest and Carl has been willing to see what they have to offer but not really ever sold on them like he was UT/AU. They believe that UT/AU are the only two programs that really matter.
