Quick note on former Vol Chris Walker...

Those who follow Chris on Twitter surely know this already, but Chris is now the FCA director on campus at UT-Chattanooga.
Chris is one of the nicest people I've ever met anywhere, and I mean that. The kids at UTC are blessed to have the opportunity to work with him. Chris is an extremely high-character and very spiritual guy, and I have no doubts that the kids at UTC are thrilled to be around him.
It was tough for Chris to fail his physical with the Baltimore Ravens and have to quit football, but he knew the end was coming with his knees and back and all that at some point, and he's the kind of guy who was always going to be successful in life.

Great news! I'm sure it's way too early, and Anton will do a great job, but Chris is the kind of guy that comes to mind when you think of the Vol For Life program. His Mom is a great lady, too. congratulations to Chris and the kids at UTC!

my brother is a former Mocs golfer and sees Chris regularly in the weight room at UTC these days. awesome guy, on all accounts. glad to see he's found a great calling to pursue post-football

Chris' older brother, Darrion, protected my blind side in high school. I've known the Walker family since we were little runts beating up on each other in SYS football (Memphis area youth league). You won't find a better group of people anywhere. Glad to hear he's finding success in life, although I never doubted for a second that he would. He's a great man and the definition of a VFL.
