We signed a respectable class and to reform the class having to recruit 17 of the 21 in the last4 months is a great job. Now the real work begins developing the players we have and winning footbal games. They don't give you any points for recruiting top ten classes. Just ask Texas who signs a top ten class every year and has a terrible on field product. We better be ready to work because the least of the SEC is finding a way to recruit great talent. ex. Ky, Ole Miss, Vandy. We must show on the field our program is superior.

How did Malzhan do it? Yes he was on the team when they won a championship, but he's not even a proven head coach.

CBJ has done a great job yes so far i think. I, for one, will reserve judgement until we put the product on the field. Someone mentioned being able to develop players, something I think we haven't been as to do in some time. Thats what will need to happen if we want to win games.

Auburn is 2 years removed from a national championship. Seniors in high school were 7th graders the last time that Tennessee was relevant (2007). In the national landscape of today's junior and senior high school players - how many new fans do you think TN has acquired in the last 4 years compared to Auburn?
