Somebody tell me how we get out-scored 27-6 in the second half... Please tell me how that happened

I can't, because it didn't.....we got outscored 27-6, which amazingly, is better

I don't think it is Dooley. I think more players need to grow some balls and step up when it's a bjg game like A.J Johnson did. Players like Bray and Hunter folded at crucial times in the game.

We didn't play our game... Hunter and Patterson dropped passes that could have been caught. Bray threw unintelligent passes. And we again had no trust in the running game and did not produce in that area. Either our offensive line can produce a run game or they can't. After 3 years they can't.

Our defense is exactly what I thought...not ready for the big time. They could not handle mediocre speed and they are not disclipined to stay in there positions. There were far to many outside runs around the end. I think that they will eventually get there, but it's not going to be this year and I'm not sure it's going to be these players as we have watched most of them develop over 3 years now.

It's nice to see that the extra point that was missed had no bearing on the game however I think it's time to concede that you don't give that scholarship to Parlardy and go recruit a different kicker. There again 3 years in a row watching the same thing. It seems to be the definition of insanity. Continuing to do the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

This is why I have openly stated 6 wins is all we were going to get this year and we need to decide if thats good enough for Dooley to stay. I think that it is for the simple fact that I don't know who you bring in to replace him. The other reason that we need to figure out if Dooley stays with 6 wins is because if we are unsure about it then we will continue to be out recruited on teh "hotseat" front.

I'm extremely disappointed with our performance tonight I think it was probably a turning point and that turning point is not going to be good in the long run. Only time will tell, but clearly we are not back and we are further way than many people thought.

Dooley did warn us all that we may not win this game, I'm just not sure that I still feel like knowing that we won't win is good enough anymore.

I lay this on Dooley.
I have watched him for 3 years, tonight his team was not ready and disappeared on 4th quarter.
Hate to think of consequences of hiring another coach. But frankly three things will start to happen soon;
1 less people attending games
2. Recruits loose interest
3 we beat no one of significance.

In other words we are worse off than we were three

Remember how bad Ala was before Saban that is where we r now. Dooley is our Shula.

Its called breaking in a completely different defense, which is more complex than anything these guys have played in. Its naive to think we would transition seamlessly into the 3-4, especially with very little depth in the secondary, and a group of young LBs.
