  • Good write-up as usual on a difficult game. If Neal is healthy next week and we have the 1-2 punch, we will upset the Gamecocks!

  • I just don't know how there is still optimism... I'm glad someone still is though.

  • The trick now is not losing the team, after next week he schedule gets much easier.

I am the perennial optimist about almost everything. Life's too short to let a game make life miserable. Been there, done that. No fun.

However, I have seen enough glimpses to understand what Coach Dooley is talking about. It has been discussed on here ad nauseum, but once these guys learn how to WIN, Big Orange football will be restored to the levels of success we were accustomed to. I do wish it would happen sooner than later, preferably next week!

  • I would bench Bray. He brings nothing to this team. Give Worley a shot. What do you have to lose?

  • I think Bray needs to spend some time in the film room ! Todd Mcshay and Mel Kiper nailed it NFL arm and cannot read SEC defenses that's Bray . I do wish they would find there mojo soon .

Agree. Bray has had his shot this is about the future. CDD may not be here to see it, but Hart should encourage the change.

Nope, beating Bama would have been the equivalent of leading a manned mission to the sun. Beating Spurrier is like a manned mission to Mars - it's possible!

I wonder how much of that's because Bray's never had to develop his skills watching film and reading defenses. This is his first season at UT he's gotten to play the hardest SEC games. Most of the other games he played first 2 seasons were lesser (often non-conference) opponents.

  • "Hunter couldn’t come up with what would have been a big gainer down the sideline,...."

    Call a spade a spade.

Hunter dropped another pass that could have been a game changer.
I'm glad I wasn't in CDD's orange pants at half time, 'cause I'd've been sorely tempted to tell him to take his shoulder pads off and that he would see the field again when he showed me he could catch a pass in practice.
Zack Rodgers has earned that spot.

  • You left out the most glaring problem with that failed third and one play action pass. We tried to line up quickly and I believe pig was out there to run the wildcat. Of course we have the wrong personnel and have too many men on the field and have to burn a timeout. That kind of crap is inexcusable from a coaching standpoint and continues to happen. Totally flips the mo their way and effectively the game was over. I mean do we just not practice for those scenarios? Good staffs don't make those mistakes and ours continues to do so. Makes me sick! I've been a Dooley supporter but I'm starting to believe its just not gonna happen for him.
