these are the types of weekends where the staff earns their pay..if we can firm up Carr's commitment, get North and flip either Morris or Ford, or both, that would be an outstanding weekend. At this point, i would settle for just removing the "soft" from Carr's verbal..

I know there are questions by some about Ferguson's fit with this new scheme, but I have so much respect for this kid for the way he's stood by us and never wavered. I really like the kid and think he could be a good QB for us.

I am impressed by Ford's film. He's a double-whammy: a good player and a steal from Vandy. I would really like to see him commit. Not really as concerned about Ferguson's "fit" or other QB recruits at this point. I hope to see that Worley has improved and that Peterman is as good as people were saying in preseason last year. Peterman has four more years to play four. I know we need depth, and Ferguson seems to provide some quality there, but I think the next three and four years are in Worley's and Peterman's hands. Vols!!

And I would jump for joy is we get North to commit this weekend. I know, he's scheduled to visit NC next weekend, but I am holding the vision. Green and North would be prizes! Vols!!

Green will not sign with Tennessee. I have accepted that fact. I would like to see us lure Ford away from Vandy and hand him over to Graham. Coach could take most good three star backs and turn them into All-SEC. Look what just one year with Graham has done for Lane and Neal. We don't need 25 DBs and we should not be desperate for a big name pain in the arse. Henry was out best shot and the things we say in frustration on these boards helped send him to Bama. I would have loved to have gotten Kamara both for his talent as a back and the pipeline it would help grease.
And, guys and gals, next weekend is also a blockbuster and we don't have that many spots left.
Out of this visit I would be overjoyed if we could get North and Morris and solidify Carr.

Johnathan Ford is a four-star, Top247 prospect in 247Sports' rankings, not a three-star.
