Now Mother Nature is working against us? I'm headed up from Memphis for the AL game & to visit my daughter (Soph & made Dean's List...Summa Cum Laude. Just a shout out for her!) later today. Know the roads & bridges may be a bit sketchy btwn Nashville & K'ville, but PLEASE tell me Vonn can make it up there from Chatt??

Does anyone know if UT offers a degree in aeronautical engineering? Josh Dobbs would be a huge pick-up for Coach Jones. He seems like a model student, and a gifted athlete with high potential in this offense.

My fiance is a grad student in aerospace/aeronautical engineering. Did her undergrad at UT as well. If Butch wants to push with that he certainly can.

I don't have a good feeling about any of these guys this weekend. Seems like we're the 2nd or 3rd choice for all of them or they're all committed elsewhere. However, getting them on campus gives us a chance. It will be interesting to see if we can turn any of them.

I was going to say that even if we didn't offer aeronautical, I know our engineering department as a whole is one of the best out there. If he wants to major in engineering, we can definitely accomodate that desire.

Ryan... there wasn't much in the article about Joe Sanders UT's quiet DL commit from LaGrange GA....is he still coming in? And was he friends / teamates with OL line target Swain from Troup County ? Sanders transfered from Troup to La Grange after his Junior year. Are they commited to visiting anywhere else...High on the Vols etc... Any info on them would be helpful.

UT has a pretty well known engineering program. Aerospace/Aeronautics being one of the more high profile degree programs they offer.

The way the last couple weekends have gone even if we are 2nd or 3rd on some of these recruits' minds it seems this staff is pulling sway. I will stay encouraged.

+1...agree completely. It's the same every year....excited to see how we end up, but I do get exhausted waiting for commits to pull the trigger on letting everyone know prior to NSD. I know I know, all part of the game...but the suspense kills me!!!!! GBO
