Losing jay is not that big of a deal he is known for lattimore but any of us could of coached that kid. All this talk about we need a guy from the south is ridiculous. Look at your top coaches out there they are not all from the south. We need a guy who can actually recruit and teach are backs to hit the holes and not run to the sideline like Neal does. Jay graham was a great player but not a great coach. We have a nfl line the backs should have been a lot better.
How about hiring who's qualified... I couldn't care less about race. If he's black then cool, if he's not then cool...

I'm not a very well educated individual when it comes to NCAA penalties. I need someone to give me a worst case scenario if we hire Trooper and he's tied to allegations at Auburn
I really don't understand all of you who say "it has to be a southerner because of recruiting in the SEC." There are plenty of coaches out there who are great recruiters and not southerners. Very few coaches start their career in the SEC, so when we hire someone, if he isn't from the SEC, give it time because he may become a prolific SEC guy. Also, stop hating on CBJ for bringing a lot of his Cincy and Central Michigan guys with him, those guys are loyal to him and will follow him anywhere. They won't leave CBJ and that is what is needed, stability. Not a shot at Coach Graham but we need players and coaches who want to be here. Those Cincy guys who would follow Butch anywhere won't just immediately jump at the big money offer in a few years when Tennessee is back at the top and everyone wants our coaches.
