I just read the article on Alex Collins and I have an academic question regarding his recruitment.

I realize that a 5 star prospect probably isn't truly worried about academics but the story mentioned he wanted to major in Criminal Justice. My understanding is that this major is not available at UT any longer and is one of the reasons people such as Coach Doug Matthews have been so critical of the changes that the UT administration has made since Joe Johnson left. If so, I would have a hard time believing that Collins would OV to UT....however, I am not familiar with the other schools degree programs.

Is this information accurate and how much do you think it affects Collins and other recruits? I tend to think that there are a lot of athletes that want to major in Criminal Justice....and I believe that these jobs want to have "athletic" candidates.
