Ryan/Wes two things, golden and gruden

1) This is probably a big waste of time knowing Gruden is the guy, but help me understand the attraction to Al Golden. I dont get it. He's "well thought of in the business", but is that it? Tangibly what makes people think this guy is a top flight coach? Kind of reminds me of the ugly chick who must be good in bed or something.
2) Question number five thousand on Gruden.....he's still on almost everyone's coaching board, but most are pretty much saying no chance. Are folks behind the scenes still trying to work on Gruden, while Hart makes plan to interview active coaches?

Mobile went nuts....
Do you think any of the stoops, fisher, etc talk is to give tenn better leverage with gruden or is hart really not interested in gruden.
TOS is reporting there is nothing happening with gruden.

Great points Keally. Gang, here is where we are at, it seems to me, with Vol Nation Opinion Polling. If anything less than Gruden, Stoops or Fisher, folks won't send their money, go to the games, they'll hang themselves, etc. Gators hired a career assistant and it's working out. UGA hired a career assistant, it has worked out. Everyone calm down. There are several guys who would be great for our program who are not named John, Bob or Jimbo. Someone like Mike McIntyre is going to get hired by someone this off season and he is going to beat UT when he plays them. This guy is going to be a great coach somewhere. However, if Hart hired him, Vol Nation would be burning mattresses before he got off the plane. I am confident Jimbo and Stoops are just playing us for more money, better pay for their assistants and more money for facilities. If either of these two are our next coach, I'll start another thread titled, "I know nothing."
