SIAA.. Zach Barnes

  • I have a friend that lives in the Atlanta area and said that Zach Barnes is back on the market. Pretty much the same situation with Zanca and Graos.

    All three guys fit the same profile. Under the radar, bigger linebacker. Sunseri had alot to go with recruiting Barnes and figured that once Sunseri was gone, so was the offer from UT.

    R/K/W- Have you all heard this?

  • I think since we haven't heard of any of our coaches visiting with him it's safe to say they don't want him... I think Barnes is just trying to hang on for dear life because he doesn't have any other good offers.

    Also, remember that systematically, there is a difference between a 3-4 LB and a 4-3 LB. You tend to bulk up a bit with your 3-4 LBs

  • have we seen the new staff go after any new LBs? I wonder what type of build they are looking for. Really weird that this staff is gonna lose almost all the LB commits

  • TOS has said yes, Barnes and tenn have parted ways. The interesting thing TOS said was sal was the only one on the staff that liked Barnes. The other coaches didn't think he was an sec player. Obviously Dooley went with sal.
