+1 for this. The NCAA doesn't mind getting caught with its pants down - it always makes up for it by wading into the situation pantsless and causing as much carnage as it possibly can to punish everyone remotely involved for having the guts to be smarter than they're allowed to be.

WREG took down story, edited it, then re-posted. They are doubling down on their claim. Whether it is true or not, this is the 1st media outlet to report that something is happening. Gonna be interesting.

It would not, contractually, be that much different from an endorsement deal that most coaches have already. I believe it would be well beyond the reach of the NCAA for this reason. OrangeTex posted something similar to this in another thread I believe.

If I recall correctly, Pat Summit did this a few years back with one of the WNBA teams
