Thanks Ryan: Glad Sanders is VFL. Hope Jones and staff can convince Jason Carr to reaffirm his commitment. This coming week will be a busy week for new staff on the recruiting trail.

There just seems to be an undercurrent in this transition to coach Jones and especially concerning Pittman. He's bringing his guy so let's hope he can convince our OL and OL commitments that Mahoney is worth letting Pittman go.

  • I'm still struggling a little bit with the decision not to retain Pittman. The work he did with the O-line in just one year's time was amazing. We went from a non-existent O-line to one of the top 5 in the country in one year, and he was the only difference. I can't imagine whoever is coming in from Cincinnati being as good. Still behind CBJ, just hate to see Pittman not be recognized for the tremendous work he did here.

Probably will be a few to not fit, up tempo no huddle leans toward more agile smaller o-linemen hard to hold weight and prepare for how it will drain a person thru spring and into season. We will be fine though he will have to shape what we do around who we have to do it.

We've run an up-tempo no huddle offense all year with Bray. He had all day to throw.

Will be alot more pulling with alot of misdirection under his previous schemes, pass blocking won't be the issue it will be on running plays.

True, and we struggled a bit more run blocking this year than pass blocking, although both were vastly improved.

Yea I think where Dooley emphasized gaining size CBJ will emphasize speed and endurance. Prolly part of not retaining Mcafery, did a real good job and could have changed direction easy but CBJ knows his guy has got the results he wants so, I understand.

We played a mostly uptempo no huddle this year.

I know Austin . I live in Cleveland and have strong ties with Bradley . Believe me Austin is all in for Tennessee . Always has been. It wouldn't matter who was head coach or Oline coach. Austin is also working the phones trying to convince All the other recruits to stay put
