Santos and the Longhorns....

Santos has committed to Texas according to the Texas Rivals site.
Also, a person on the VT Rivals site is saying Kirven has eliminated Tennessee.
EDIT: I edited the title because us said Santos officially a Longhorn, which at this point doesn't appear to be true.

Santos news is likely true. The news about Kirven is from a poster, not a mod, on the VT site, and likely isn't reliable.

Oh, and everyone, let's not go into full freak out mode over Santos. This really shouldn't surprise a lot of people. And there is a chance (very small) he could reconsider.

I hope it's turns out to be what he wants it to be, but I see him playing DE and not LB at UTexas. Oh well, best of luck to him.

virginia teach rarely loses out on an in state kid that visits them the last weekend. I've been expecting him to go there jsut from history. his coaches, friends and family would like to see him 30 minutes away. would have been a great get and I would have been happily surprised

Kirven is not a Vol and is not a Hokie either......that news is far from reliable.

If true (and I have little doubt that it isn't) I wish Dalton the best luck. Wish he would have stuck to his commitment, but isn't that what any of us would wish for our own kids. The chance to fulfill a dream and play for the school he grew up rooting for and dreaming of suiting up for one day.
