It would be great to hold on to Dalton, if for no other reason just to feel better that this new group of coaches can close! Sounds like Sunseri knows how to give a recruit what he is looking for to get him to NSD in tact.
I'm glad that Santos verbalized what many fans need to understand about players taking official visits to schools even after they are committed. This is quite literally a once-in-a-lifetime thing for most of these guys. Don't beat them up for enjoying the ride!
Can't wait to see this kid in Orange!

It sounds really good for UT! We may not be completely out of the woods with him, but sounds like it would take a 180 degree turn at this point. I've been amazed that CDD has not lost more commitments to this point with the big staff turnover. Arguably, we haven't lost a commitment to this point that UT had not facilitated.... am I wrong?

Until he signs on the line this one isn't over. Same way w/ McNeil & Peters. Those 3 plus Bourque worry me the most.

Wow great read! This makes me feel alot better about santos then I did on Monday. Sunseri obviously can get it done on the recruitting trail. Keep hearing things such as intensity and swagger from all the recruits that he has talked to. Great hire for Dooley. Can't wait until NSD!!! VFL

I've bounced back and forth on Santos and Bourque for the last few weeks. It's most troublesome part about January and recruiting. He has a good point these kids are getting a once in a lifetime opportunity and we shouldn't beat on them when they choose another school.
Seems like a good kid and a possible team leader, which is needed. We'll see what happens between now and NSD.

Great read and glad to hear that Santos is 99.9% all Vol...whatever that means...LOL
I believe this recruiting class is going to be a huge step in the turn around of UT football. The last couple of years has seen some very good players arrive but there is something about this class that makes me think Dooley has gotten over the hump. Now let's just make sure we get all those signatures on Feb. 1.
