Unfortunate that we lost a kid with such a great passion for the game and that he chose a school that's pulling the wool over his eyes. Texas will have him at fullback by next year's spring practice.

Santos is joining three other linebackers at texas with their already deep linebacking corps... Santos won't see the field (other than fullback) until his senior year and they let him play because its senior day...

“He committed to Texas this morning and he’s fired up!” Mr. Santos, no offense, the worst thing a parent coan do is live vicariously through his/her/their children. You have done a huge disservice to your son in steering him toward the school YOU wish him to play for.
Dalton, I do wish you the best of luck in your decision(s), but sooner or later you must make your OWN decisions and not let your father make them for you.

How good is this kid if Texas waits until the las minute to offer? I'm not saying this because he just decommitted. I watched the all star game. He made 1 tackle in 25min and he got bitched on that play.

His dad wants him to play there so Santos can get a poor education, not see anything other than special teams on the football field, and come home to work on the family ranch in a couple of years when he drops out...

I was more excited for Otha Peters anyway... Lathers and Johnson on the inside Maggit and Peters on the outside... pretty decent core if they don't get hurt.

Isn't #78 usually a lineman's number? I know it is just for show, but it is still interesting that he gets his pic taken with a lineman's number . . .

+1 on your observation. I had the same question. This is not sour grapes, but watching him in the all star game, as someone previously posted, he didn't have results like you would have wanted him to have.
