You are the guy that challenges somebody else to a fight but says "Well, if I lose my big brothers can still beat you up" (in reference to SEC elites UF, Bama, LSU). That's really sad. USC record OOC, in big games, and history for producing the highest quality talent in NFL history speaks for itself. You, well you brag about how good the other teams are you play.

Soft? USC beats out UT in every conceivable category for measuring success. We have more natties, more heismans, more all-americans, 4-0 H2H, most NFL Draft picks of all time, most NFL Hall of Famers, and more players to ever play in the Super Bowl than any other school. So, again, how are they soft for wanting to go to USC? Practice is harder than the games, this is where Clay Matthews was the 4th LB his junior year, where Matt Cassell never took a snap, and where Joey Browner, Dennis Smith, Ronnie Lott, and Jeff FIsher all played together at once. Basically, you are saying throw out all of the tape and their physical skillsets which is far and beyond any of that of just about anyone in the crapshoot of HS football that is played in Tennessee, and call them soft because they want to win big. Look, I agree that Pac 12 ain't the SEC, but maybe, just maybe they don't want to get pounded in by UF and Bama every year. Facts are facts and California has 225 players in the NFL followed by the state of Florida with 192. Then again the NFL might just be soft considering 225 players come from that soft state, most of which played in the Pac. Tell that to Tyler Bray who would have committed to USC on the spot if they offered. I guess that makes him soft because if he had the option he would have made the same decision that Ramsey made and Hatcher is going to make a week from friday. Good grief, the logic here...

Hahaha, if you wanna talk NFL, 2 of the GREATEST players at their position in the HISTORY of the NFL came through The University of Tennessee (Peyton Manning, Reggie White). Not to mention Jason Witten is 3rd in all time receptions as an NFL Tight End and still going strong, an undrafted Arian Foster won an NFL rushing championship after only playing 3 yrs (2nd year as starter), and who knows how great Eric Berry will be.

I will say the SEC is the best conference but not by as much as many sec fans want to believe. This 6 in a row NC is a nice run but if you look st s few of those years USC finished with the same record as the NC but due to a flawed system USC didn't get a shot to play in the game. I'm not saying USC would of won but I will say the games would of been better than watching OKIES OR OHIO ST in those games. Only one way to really solve these arguments and that's on the field, is it football season yet? Here's to hoping it's USC vs SEC team finally in the NC game

Again, let's just let the facts do the talking...
USC. UT
Wins. 779. 794
Losses. 313. 349
Winning %. .704 .686
NC's. 11. 6
Bowl record. 31-16. 25-24
Heismans. 6 (w/o bush) 0
H2H. 4. Zero
I'm not even going to do NFL hall of famers (best measure of the elite of the elite), players drafted, or # of all pro's because USC leads the country in all of those categories. This post was edited by orangeasylum on 7/21/2012 at 1:48 PM

The confrence as whole is soft. USC will never actually be able to say they are good enough to play in the SEC EVERY week. Are they better than UT now? Of course but college football rotates on what teams are at the top and to add to history UT has more wins, 6 titles with 8 unclaimed. Both schools have amazing history and tradation so dont try the USC has a better tradation bs.

Its the L.A atmosphere that sells USC, thats why they always fly south. Most who never seen L.A are blown away by their campus and the ones from that region are being loyal to the home school. I do understand wanting to go to the NFL, so if I was soft and from california, i would go to USC myself. I wouldn't dare go down south where those corn-fed, fried-food eating boys hit too hard, and i gotta compete almost every weekend. This is "The dirty south", and this is our site, so kindly remove yourself, take you're pretty pu**y and go ride that USC co*k.
